How do you look at the situation of infertility in Angola?
How did the vocation for Natural Medicine come about?
What are the numbers?
What is the scientific definition of infertility?
What are the main causes of infertility?
What are the advantages of consuming natural foods such as cassava?
Cassava, for example, is a good tuber for nutrient recovery, as well as increasing milk for breastfeeding, as well as stimulating sperm production. The hamburger and pizza have excess saturated fats, sodium and sugar. Sausages such as ham, bologna, sausages and salami also contain fats that, when they exceed 1.5 percent, per 100 grams of food, increase the risk of overweight and can cause cardiovascular disease and stroke. Sausages also have a large amount of nitrate which, when consumed in excess, increases the risk of cancer, in addition to accumulating sodium that causes an increase in cardiac pressure. Men are even the main responsible for the emergence of infertility at home, as they are the ones who have the ability to make women pregnant. The lack of cooperation of men in adhering to fertility consultations, especially if in previous relationships (relationships) a woman got pregnant. He even thinks that he will never have infertility problems again, whereas in the previous phase he was eating well, but that, unfortunately, this year, he drinks a lot of alcohol, he started to smoke more, creating a climate of stress, which are other factors for the emergence of infertility. On the part of women, I draw attention to the non-use of contraceptives without the guidance of doctors, without knowing the origin and real effects of the medication, thus creating conditions for intoxication of the uterus.
How should we be sure whether or not foods are conducive to strengthening the reproductive system?
Foods are divided into four genera, which are biogenic, bioactive, biostatic and biocides. Biogenics are the ones that generate life and are the ideal basis of our food, they give vital force and energy to the body. Bioactives are those provided by nature spontaneously, as is the case with maboque, plum, jinguinga, mucua and others. In relation to biogenics and bioactives, they are live foods, destined by nature to ensure the life and well-being of human beings, whose consumption brings vitality at any age. Bio-statics are those that diminish life, that vital energy has been diminished by time. Its consumption is the result of modern habits and its consumption guarantees the minimum functioning of our body, causes premature aging of cells, because it does not provide the living substances necessary for regeneration. Biocides, on the other hand, are those that have already been altered with chemical substances, such as frozen chicken and sausages.
What should be the behavior of women who still do not want to have children, but are sexually active?
They should go to a maternity hospital and ask for the help of a specialist in reproductive health who will advise them on the use of drugs that prevent pregnancy, without any future consequences. Excessive consumption of processed meats, such as chorizo, sausages and hamburgers, can cause the appearance of cysts on the ovaries. I had the opportunity to do a scientific research work on infertility in rural areas of the provinces of Uíge, Bié, Huambo, Huíla and Namibe and I realized that in a community with 500 people, only one is faced with the problem of lack of birth.
And what conclusion did you come to?
Well… the conclusion I came to is that the way of life of local women, especially the way they feed themselves, is at the base of reproduction facilities. Unlike women and men in large cities such as Luanda, who feed mainly on industrialized products, in addition to a generalized sedentary lifestyle, contrary to what happens in rural communities, where people have a more natural way of life.
